A new era: ΒιΆΉ΄ε is looking for a new director

After nearly 13 years at ΒιΆΉ΄ε our Director, Professor Graham Shimmield, will leave ΒιΆΉ΄ε with effect from 1^st March 2008. He will move as Executive Director to the Bigelow Laboratory in Maine, USA. ΒιΆΉ΄ε owes a big debt to Graham Shimmield for his strong leadership that saw the Association move into a Β£12.4 M new laboratory, double its staff base, increase its financial turnover eightfold and develop its Arctic research portfolio.

The search for a new director has now begun and is conducted by the recruitment specialists Odgers Ray and Berndtson.
